Lens Coatings The following options are available for lens coatings:
MULTI ANTI REFLECTIVE (MAR)
Reflection free lenses offer a dramatic reduction in reflections so they provide a much clearer and sharper vision. The mirror effect, often seen by onlookers, is virtually eliminated which means the wearer's eyes can be seen more attractively.
Drivers see the benefits at night when reflections from headlamps and streetlights are kept to a minimum. And, during the day, of course, vision clarity is improved. All of which makes driving safer.
At work, wearers can enjoy far better vision. In particular, computer users get the comfort of improved contrast and less harsh glare.
We use a high quality multi-layer broadband coating.
An absolute must for rimless spectacles.
(Not necessary when you are having a sunglass tint)
ULTRA VIOLET COATING
For plastic lenses you may want to add this coating to give added protection against harmful ultra violet rays.
Not necessary if you choose Polycarbonate Lenses as, even in their clear form, they give 100% Ultra Violet Protection.
MIRROR COATING
Fashionable Blue or Silver Mirror Coating, (from a light flash mirror to a full mirror)
